2. Think about ways you can reduce or stay away from harmful stressful situations.
After you have figured out what causes you to be unhappy, think about ways in which you can avoid situations that stir you up inside. For example, morning and afternoon traffic is hectic for us all. Rush hour can send us into stress mode at the snap of a finger! Think of ways to avoid this feeling. Leave for work 30 minutes early or listen to a positive audio book when you are in your car.
3. Get a plan together and put it into action.
If you find yourself in a routine of stress causing events. Think of ways to approach these events in a different way. Think up many senarios of avoiding negative feelings or reactions. Approach the stress causing person, place, or thing with a smile and pray. Pray for God to either take it away or pray that you will come to know a way of peace when a negative force approaches you or vice versa.The Challenge
Helping others always makes me feel blessed instead of stressed. Set a goal to make your bank statement reflect you helping others instead of focussing on your wants. This is a fun challenge. It will not only take you out of your comfort zone but will also bless you beyond what you expected.
Living stress free has to be practiced. With this life comes, so much negative influence that we get overwhelmed and tied up into thinking that it's Not normal for adults to have peace all of the time. But let me tell you that we were created to have just that! It is possible to have peace among chaos. It is very possible to outshine darkness that surrounds us. When we have peace it looks like happiness and feels like joy. So I challenge you today. Find the things that make you stressed, depressed, and angry and take a stand in changing stressful situations into peaceful ones. Your life is guaranteed to change.
