We all know that toned abs look great, but they also provide health benefits. The good thing about ab work is that it can very conveinent. You don't need lots of space to work your abs. Your living room floor will be more than enough space. Building strong abs is no easy task, but I assure that it will be well worth the time and effort.

1. Having strong abs helps your posture.
Strong abs help you to stand and sit up straighter which takes the strain off of your back. If you have a sedintary job its easy to find yourself slumping over your desk and getting lost in work. Make sure you are getting up every so often to stretch and walk around a little.  
2.  Having strong abs builds strong bones and muscles in your back to help prevent back injury.
Ab exercises will build strong bones and muscles. Ab exercises build your entire midsection, which will help take the some of the weight and pressure off or your back. The stronger your abs are, the more you will be able to work from your core, which means avoiding back injury.
