5 Tips on Having Total Control Over What You Eat.

Doing the Little Things can Create a Huge Impact: 5 Tips on Having Total Control Over What You Eat.

Tip #1 Choose your Groceries Wisely.

Each time you head out to get your weekly groceries, set a goal. Try a new healthy recipe every week or buy veggies or grains that you have never cooked before. This makes healthy living exciting and it will give you a little edge in the kitchen
 ;-)

Tip #2 Don't Give Up

It can be very tough to be the only one in your household to be on the bandwagon for healthy living. To deny the family's choice foods and commit to unpopular recipes can leave you feeling like somewhat of an outcast. Don't give up too soon on your lifestyle change. The more you stick with it, the more you will come to love it and it will soon become fitting on you ;-)

Tip # 3 Explore! :-D

Each month, try new places to shop for groceries or dedicate time to check out and locate healthy restaurants. Your family will get a big kick out of you bringing home non native foods. They will be itching to see what you will do with your new and abstract food purchases.

Tip#4 Switch it Up

Healthy eating does not have to be a drag and you don't have to be limited in the foods that you choose. Numerous times I have had people to come up to me and say, " I need to loose weight and watch what I eat so I'm just going to have salad every day for the next week." Nnnnnoooooo!!! This sounds more like a punishment my goodness...IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY! Healthy eating extends far beyond your simple salad.

Tip #5 Remind Yourself

Remember: Food is your fuel. Everything we eat gets broken down in our digestive system and is produced into energy. You want Grade A fuel? Eat Grade A Food...Each time food enters your mouth think, "How will this food help Me? How will it Harm Me?"  Please, Please, Please...Learn How To Read Food Labels. You will be able to answer these two simple questions if you take a couple of seconds to see what is in the food that you eat.
