1. Learn to Do Your OWN Hair - Learning to care for your hair will save you lots of money, it just takes a little time and patience. Whether relaxed or natural, Ive learned that doing my own hair is much easier than I thought it would be. Just try it, You'll see! There are all kinds of resources that teach you about washing, drying, straightening, curling and maintaing your hair. You can save the money that you would normally pay to someone else for doing your hair by putting money in a jar. See how much you have by the end of the summer!
2. Use the Sunlight Instead of Electircity During the Day - When you get home from work open the curtains. You will be able to use the sunlight for light much longer in the summer than in the winter months. This should help with the electric bill
3. Don't Touch The AC...unless you are Going Out of Town - Set the thermostat to the highest comfortable temperature. We're not suggesting you break a sweat, but even a 1° change can save you money. When you go out of town, turn the AC off.
4. Don't splurge on shopping before vacation - Often times when we get ready to go on vacation we want to buy a new outfit for each day. Most of us already have a great summer wardrobe. We also have lots of clothes from last summers vacation. Save your money and put together outfits that you have in your closet. If you just take the time to lay out what you already have, most of the time you are pleased and realize you have a great selection of clothes for summer vacation.

7. Do YOUR Yard Maintenance - Instead of paying somone else to maintain your yard, maintain your own. Gardening can be theraputic and doing other yard work maintenance will help you stay active.
